Janella Marie Ejercito, the eldest daughter of Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada, continues her active role in socio-civic work as she visited various barangays in San Juan City last week.
Sept. 21, 2009. Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada, chairman of the Senate Committee on Labor, Employment and Human Resources Development and the joint Congressional Oversight Committee on Labor and Employment, arrives today from the United Arab Emirates together with 31 distressed OFWs he helped get repatriated from that country.
The senator personally fetched the OFWs and provided the plane tickets for all of them.
The OFWs, who were rescued from various forms of maltreatment from their employers particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, arrived with Estrada 11 a.m. today at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and joined the senator in a press conference upon arrival at the airport.
