KASAMBAHAY WELFARE ACT.

Bonita Baran (center) relays her story to the media, as she visits the office of Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada (right) Monday afternoon. Baran is a domestic worker who experienced maltreatment and physical abuse from her employer in Quezon City. She sustained various injuries due to repeated beating and nearly lost her vision. Accompanying her is Public Attorney’s Office Chief Atty. Persida Acosta (left). Sen. Estrada says her case underscores the importance of the enactment of Kasambahay Bill.
