Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada was the Keynote Speaker during the General Membership Meeting of the Philippine Insurers Club recently held in Makati City. In his speech, Sen. Estrada urged the organization to strengthen initiatives towards reducing the backlog of cases of insurance claims and weeding out the fly-by-night operators. Moreover, he also pushed for an insurance system designed for the poor and marginalized communities who are regularly exposed to the risks and dangers of typhoons, fire and other calamities.
