Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada says he is in favor of recalling and re-evaluating all compact flash cards used in the automated national elections to end all speculations of election rigging and manipulation. The compact flash cards are placed in each of the precinct count optical scan (PCOS) machines and contain all the program and information of a particular precinct. Sen. Estrada was named an alternate member of the joint congressional canvassing committee to prevent problems on quorum. Sen. Estrada, son of the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino standard-bearer former President Joseph Estrada, inhibited and declared not to actively participate from the proceedings of the committee out of delicadeza.
